If you’ve found your way to this blog, you must be amoung the curious, which is the exact reason I created this blog. During the past year that I’ve been photographing music in the midlands, I’ve had numerous occasions where I have been asked for information, advice, opinions or just for a general chat, as well as those simply looking for photos, so I set up this site as a general one-stop spot for all the music lovers in the midlands.

Expect to find articles on photography, how-to’s for compact cameras in live gig venues, information on the shoots I’ve done, as well as all the photographs I’ve been taking over the last year. If you have any questions, here’s the place to ask them. I’m always willing and completely happy to tell you any information you may want to know about the gigs I’ve attended, the photos that were taken, or the processing involved in the final shot.

In the meantime, I’ll be building out the archive of the shows from the past year as well as a short series or articles on the shooting conditions from each show.
